Brand Advocacy Recap: SXSW Interactive 2014

Last year, we left SXSW Interactive inspired and motivated to continue building an authentic, powerful, and simple solution that finds and nurtures brand advocates in some of the largest communities in the world. Advocacy only works when it’s real people saying things they really mean, to people they really know. Since our trip to Austin, we’ve been hard at work on updates in that make us the leading platform that truly connects brands with those advocates. And we’ve accomplished that in a big way in 2014.

  • We’ve rolled out capabilities that allow brands using Crowdly to see not only the individual actions of their best advocates over time, but also the ripple effect of those actions
  • We introduced a beta program for the capability to help brands sponsor content to the customers most likely to absorb and engage with their content, resulting in some of their best converting campaigns
  • We added the invaluable capability to help brands see the real value of Shares, by measuring the subsequent engagement it drives in the personal communities of brand advocates

We know this year’s SXSW Interactive will give us more great ideas to continue helping brands connect with their own authentic advocates that love them most. But before we get down to Austin, we want to share some of our favorite insights on brand advocacy from 2014. Here’s a look at some of the best.
